Not Your Grandma’s Self-Help Author
I’m not your typical self-help author. As the publisher of Screw Magazine, a publication more famous for pushing boundaries than for pushing people toward self-empowerment, my journey is anything but ordinary. Known for my irreverent humor and a “no holds barred” approach to life, I spent years living on the edge of controversy, mastering the art of audacity.
But behind all this swaggerliciousness and brash persona is a man who faced his own battles with fear and insecurity. My personal struggle with timidity and self-doubt led me to develop the seven audacious steps outlined in my book, Smart Enough to Know It, Dumb Enough to Do It. From unexpected moments of opportunity to high-stakes risks that paid off, my rise from a provocateur in the publishing world to a beacon of motivational wisdom is as unconventional as it is inspiring. In my book, I show you that no matter where you start, you can find your way to audacity — and success — one bold step at a time.
If I can do it, so can you.
It all starts with that first step.
